Cancellation guide
How to cancel PureGym
A clear, step-by-step guide to cancelling your PureGym membership, plus the things worth checking before you leave.
Before you cancel
- There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
- Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
- There may be a notice period, so you can be billed for a short while after you ask to leave. Cancel as early as you can.
- Cancel from the account you actually pay with, and make sure you're the billing owner before you start.
- Always get your cancellation confirmed in writing and keep it.
How to cancel PureGym, step by step
- Sign in to the Member's Area at members.puregym.com with your email and PIN, or use the PureGym app.
- Open the 'Your Gym Pass' section and choose 'Freeze or Cancel Your Membership'.
- Select cancel and confirm. Give up to 4 working days' notice before your next payment date so the request is processed in time.
- Your membership stays active until the day before your next payment would have been taken.
- For a fixed-term (paid-in-full or minimum-term) membership the online tool won't handle it, email [email protected] to arrange cancellation.
