How to cancel Peloton
A clear, step-by-step guide to cancelling your Peloton Gym & Fitness, plus the things worth checking before you leave.
Before you cancel
- There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
- Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
- There may be a notice period, so you can be billed for a short while after you ask to leave. Cancel as early as you can.
- If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not Peloton directly.
- Always get your cancellation confirmed in writing and keep it.
How to cancel Peloton, step by step
- Work out which membership you have: All-Access (tied to Bike/Tread/Row hardware) or the App membership.
- If Peloton bills you directly, sign in at members.onepeloton.com, click the settings icon top right, then 'Preferences', then the 'Memberships' tab.
- Click 'Manage' next to the subscription, then 'Pause or cancel', and choose to cancel (or pause for 1, 2 or 3 months instead).
- Confirm it worked: the renewal date should change to an access-until / expiry date; you keep access to the end of the current billing period.
- If Apple or Google bills you, cancel in the App Store or Google Play instead (see below). Need help? Call Peloton on (866) 679-9129.

Notice, fees & cooling-off
- Notice period
- Cancel any time; membership runs to end of current billing period, no renewal after.
- Early-exit charge
- None on standard memberships; NO prorated refund. CRITICAL: cancelling the membership does NOT cancel Bike/Tread financing - that's a separate agreement you keep paying. Billing-error refunds only if reported within 60 days. NY/Canada residents have extra statutory cancel rights.
