Before you cancel

• There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.

How to cancel McAfee, step by step

1. Go to myaccount.mcafee.com and sign in with the account that bought the subscription.
2. Open 'Auto-Renewal Settings'.
3. Click 'Turn off' to cancel auto-renewal, then confirm.
4. You keep protection until the end of the current paid period.
5. For a refund, use McAfee's 'Request a Refund' flow within 30 days of a new purchase or 60 days of an auto-renewal charge (annual subscriptions bought direct from McAfee).
