Before you cancel

• There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
• Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
• Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being charged for another period.
• If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not Grammarly directly.
• Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.

How to cancel Grammarly, step by step

1. Sign in at account.grammarly.com.
2. Click the 'Account' tab in the left sidebar, then open 'Subscription'.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click 'Cancel Subscription'.
4. Click 'Continue' in the pop-up, choose a reason for cancelling, then click 'Cancel Subscription' to confirm.
5. Cancelling stops auto-renewal; you keep all paid features until the end of the current subscription period.
