How to cancel Gousto

A clear, step-by-step guide to cancelling your Gousto Food & Delivery, plus the things worth checking before you leave.

Before you cancel

  • There's no fixed contract, so you can cancel anytime. Your access simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
  • There may be a notice period, so you can be billed for a short while after you ask to leave. Cancel as early as you can.
  • Cancel from the account you actually pay with, and make sure you're the billing owner before you start.
  • Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.

How to cancel Gousto, step by step

  1. Log in on the website or the app and tap 'Profile', then 'Manage Subscription'.
  2. Scroll down and tap 'Cancel Subscription', then confirm.
  3. Do this before the cut-off: 12pm (noon) 3 days before your delivery day.
  4. If you've already picked recipes for your next box, cancel that box separately, cancelling the subscription will not remove it.
