Cancellation guide
How to cancel eHarmony
A clear, step-by-step guide to cancelling your eHarmony Other, plus the things worth checking before you leave.
Before you cancel
- You may be in a minimum contract, so leaving early can trigger an early-exit charge. Ask for the exact figure before you agree to anything.
- Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
- There may be a notice period, so you can be billed for a short while after you ask to leave. Cancel as early as you can.
- If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not eHarmony directly.
- Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.
How to cancel eHarmony, step by step
- If eharmony bills you directly, log in on the website and click the down-arrow next to your profile photo (portrait) at the top.
- Open 'Data & settings', then select 'Cancel auto renewal' (shown as 'Amend subscription' in some regions).
- Review the details and confirm at the bottom of the page; this turns off automatic renewal only.
- If Apple bills you, cancel in iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions > eharmony (see the billing-partner section below).
- If Google Play bills you, cancel in the Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > eharmony (see below).
- Keep the confirmation; if you can't reach the setting, use the 'Contact Customer Care' form (available 24/7) from the eharmony help site.
