How to cancel Adobe Creative Cloud

A clear, step-by-step guide to cancelling your Adobe Creative Cloud Software, plus the things worth checking before you leave.

Before you cancel

  • You may be in a minimum contract, so leaving early can trigger an early-exit charge. Ask for the exact figure before you agree to anything.
  • Expect to be offered a retention discount or loyalty deal to make you stay. If you're sure you want to cancel, stand your ground.
  • Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being charged for another period.
  • If you subscribed through Apple, Google or another provider, you must cancel with them, not Adobe Creative Cloud directly.
  • Get a confirmation (on-screen or by email) and keep it as proof of the date you cancelled.

How to cancel Adobe Creative Cloud, step by step

  1. Sign in at account.adobe.com and open the 'Plans' tab.
  2. Find the plan you want to cancel and select 'Manage plan', then 'Cancel your plan'.
  3. Work through the retention offers and select your reason for leaving.
  4. Review any early-termination fee shown for annual plans before confirming.
  5. Confirm cancellation. You'll get an email confirmation. (If self-serve fails, contact Adobe Customer Support by chat or phone to cancel.)
